Hewlett-Packard (HP) is one of the largest IT-companies based in the USA. The company was established in 1939 and now is an industry-pioneer with vast experience in software and hardware manufacturing. In 2015, the company was divided into HP Inc. and Hewlett-Packard Enterprise (HPE). HP Inc. manufactures PCs and printers, while Hewlett-Packard Enterprise manufactures servers and server equipment. HPE solutions are of high quality and reliability, suitable for building IT-infrastructures.
State-of-the-art solutions. Unleashed.
HPE ProLiant (PL) is a trademark for x86 servers received after the acquisition of Compaq in autumn 1993. First current generation ProLiant models (Gen10 plus) were shown in 2019. In 2021, modified models with new processors (Gen10 plus v2) were announced. Each new generation inherits the best know-how and supports latest technologies and components: PCIe 4.0, NVIDIA A100, Intel Xeon Scalable 3, AMD EPYC 7003, and many others.
Brilliance of metal and technology.
HPE develops several ProLiant models:
MicroServer — servers for basic office tasks,
ML (Modular Line) — tower servers mounted as-is or in a railing rack,
DL (Density Line) — rack-mounted servers,
BL (Blade Line) — blade servers for highly dense mounting on special chassis. The modules are mounted vertically,
SL (Scalable Line) — modular servers similar to regular blade systems but mounted on smaller chassis (in units), while blade servers are used for specific purposes. The modules are mounted horizontally.
As for HPE ProLiant series:
10 series — Small Scale Servers. They are “small scale” both in size and functionality,
100 series — Right Sized Servers. Perfect balance between price, functionality and performance,
300 series — Versatile Performance Servers. High-density and high-computing servers.
500 series — Scale-up Servers. These servers can be scaled-up in various ways.
HPE ProLiant servers are suitable for any budget and task: you can choose both small servers for office tasks and huge 10U blade systems for data centers and enterprises. HPE solutions implement a unique vision of IPMI standard — Integrated Lights Out (iLO) for remote control of IT-infrastructure via Out-of-Band Management. Some models are good for vertical scaling, and some are good for virtually limitless horizontal scaling. HPE focuses on proprietary developments, quality, safety and exceptional equipment reliability.
Most corporate customers trust HPE ProLiant to be professional server solutions for their businesses. Hardware and software are updated for free, and Hewlett Packard Enterprise Support Services Central (previously known as Care Pack Central) fee-based support program helps you eliminate any problem in a matter of hours and get back to work.
