Gigabyte G294-Z42-AAP2 8SFF/NVMe is a 2U enterprise GPU system storage configuration with eight front 2.5-inch hot-swap bays split between four PCIe Gen5 NVMe/SATA/SAS-4 positions and four SATA/SAS-4 positions. It is designed for AI factories and enterprise data centers that need a defined mix of high-speed NVMe and SAS/SATA capacity.

Key features:

  • Storage basket and service access: The chassis provides eight front-accessible 2.5-inch hot-swap bays. Supported drives can be replaced without opening the chassis.

  • Exact drive topology: The basket is split: four bays support PCIe Gen5 NVMe, SATA or SAS-4, while the other four support SATA or SAS-4 only; a SAS card is required for SAS devices.

  • Backplane and storage integration: RAID functions require an add-in storage card matched to the chosen protocols and RAID level. No internal M.2 storage is specified for this model.

  • Enterprise compute platform: The compute subsystem combines 2 x AMD EPYC 9115 (16 cores/32 threads, 2.6-4.1GHz, 155W), 1,152GB DDR5 ECC registered memory; 24 DIMM platform, and 4 x NVIDIA RTX PRO 6000 Blackwell Server Edition accelerators with 384GB (4 x 96GB) of aggregate GDDR7 ECC memory. This provides CPU, memory and accelerator resources for sustained production workloads.

  • Management and availability: ASPEED AST2600 BMC, dedicated management LAN and GIGABYTE Management Console; 2 x 3000W 80 PLUS Titanium redundant power supplies. These facilities support remote administration, health monitoring and resilient operation.
