Supermicro ARS-221GL-NR 4NVMe is a 2U enterprise server storage configuration with four front hot-swap E1.S NVMe bays. It is designed for AI factories, research centers, cloud providers and enterprise data centers that need fast local storage for AI and HPC workloads.

Key features:

  • Storage basket and service access: The selected storage basket comprises four front hot-swap E1.S NVMe bays. Supported hot-swap drives can be serviced from the front without opening the chassis, helping reduce planned maintenance time.

  • Installed accelerator subsystem: The installed accelerator subsystem contains 2 x NVIDIA H100 NVL PCIe. It provides 188GB HBM3 in aggregate (2 x 94GB). Direct PCIe 5.0 x16 CPU-to-GPU paths support high-throughput accelerator access.

  • Storage topology and data path: Four front E1.S bays connect over NVMe, while two internal PCIe 5.0 x4 M.2 slots provide a separate path for boot or service storage.

  • Enterprise compute platform: The installed compute subsystem combines dual 72-core CPUs on an NVIDIA Grace CPU Superchip with 960GB of ECC LPDDR5X memory. It supplies the CPU, memory and PCIe resources required to feed the accelerator subsystem and host production services.

  • Management and availability: IPMI 2.0, KVM-over-LAN, Redfish API and Supermicro Update Manager, together with 3 x 2000W redundant 80 PLUS Titanium power supplies, support remote administration, component monitoring, planned service operations and resilient data-center operation.
