Supermicro AS-8125GS-TNHR 12SFF/NVMe + 2SFF is an 8U enterprise server storage configuration with twelve front hot-swap 2.5-inch NVMe bays plus two front hot-swap 2.5-inch SATA bays. It is designed for AI factories, research centers, cloud providers and enterprise data centers that need fast local storage for AI and HPC workloads.

Key features:

  • Storage basket and service access: The selected storage basket comprises twelve front hot-swap 2.5-inch NVMe bays plus two front hot-swap 2.5-inch SATA bays. Supported hot-swap drives can be serviced from the front without opening the chassis, helping reduce planned maintenance time.

  • Installed accelerator subsystem: The installed accelerator subsystem contains 8 x NVIDIA H100 SXM5. It provides 640GB HBM3 in aggregate (8 x 80GB). Fourth-generation NVIDIA NVLink with NVSwitch provides high-bandwidth communication across the HGX H100 accelerator complex.

  • Storage topology and data path: Twelve NVMe bays form the high-throughput data tier and two SATA bays provide a separate service or boot tier. The optional additional four NVMe bays are not part of this 12NVMe + 2SFF configuration.

  • Enterprise compute platform: The installed compute subsystem combines dual AMD EPYC 9004 series processors with 6,144GB of DDR5 ECC registered memory. It supplies the CPU, memory and PCIe resources required to feed the accelerator subsystem and host production services.

  • Management and availability: Dedicated BMC connectivity and Supermicro lifecycle-management tools, together with 6 x 3000W redundant (3+3) 80 PLUS Titanium power supplies, support remote administration, component monitoring, planned service operations and resilient data-center operation.
