ASUS ESC8000A-E13X 8SFF is an expansion-oriented 4U enterprise GPU server storage configuration with eight 2.5-inch SFF/NVMe hot-swap drive bays. It is designed for system integrators, visual computing teams, research labs, and enterprise data centers that need flexible local storage for AI inference, rendering, simulation, and data science.

Key features:

  • Storage basket and service access: The configuration provides eight front 2.5-inch hot-swap positions with an NVMe-capable backplane. Front-accessible hot-swap serviceability helps reduce planned maintenance time.

  • Installed accelerator subsystem: The installed accelerator subsystem contains 8 NVIDIA RTX PRO 6000 Blackwell Server Edition accelerators with 768GB (8 x 96GB) of aggregate GPU memory. The configuration is sized for sustained enterprise workloads rather than a general-purpose display role.

  • High-bandwidth data path: The GPU fabric uses PCIe. Storage, GPU and network paths are arranged to support high-throughput data movement and minimize avoidable I/O bottlenecks.

  • Enterprise compute platform: The compute subsystem is configured as follows: CPU: 2 x AMD EPYC 9965; memory: 1,536GB DDR5; slots: 24 DDR5 DIMM; connectivity: 8 x 400Gb/s QSFP ports.
