Gigabyte G893-ZD1-AAX3 8NVMe is a high-density 8U dual-socket enterprise GPU server storage configuration with eight front-accessible 2.5-inch Gen5 NVMe hot-swap bays. It is designed for AI factories, research organizations, cloud providers and enterprise data centers that need fast local storage for large-scale AI training, inference, HPC and data-intensive pipelines.

Key features:

  • 8 front NVMe drive bays: Provides eight front-accessible 2.5-inch Gen5 NVMe hot-swap bays, allowing supported drives to be serviced without opening the chassis and helping reduce planned maintenance time.

  • Native Gen5 NVMe storage design: This basket is the eight-drive 2.5-inch Gen5 NVMe configuration. The front backplane uses PCIe Gen5 x4 connectivity; SAS connectivity and hardware RAID are not part of this storage topology. Two internal M.2 slots with PCIe Gen3 x4 and x1 interfaces provide additional internal storage.

  • NVIDIA HGX accelerator platform: The server is equipped with 8 NVIDIA H200 SXM GPUs, with 141GB HBM3e per GPU and 1,128GB of aggregate GPU memory. The accelerators communicate through fourth-generation NVIDIA NVLink and NVSwitch with 900 GB/s of bidirectional bandwidth per GPU, providing a high-bandwidth path for sustained AI and HPC workloads.

  • Expandable dual-socket AMD EPYC platform: The server is equipped with 6,144GB of DDR5 ECC registered memory. The platform supports two AMD EPYC 9005- or 9004-series processors, 24 DDR5 RDIMM slots, PCIe Gen5 expansion and two 10GbE ports through Intel X710-AT2.

  • Hot-swap serviceability and management: Front hot-swap access, ASPEED AST2600 BMC, GIGABYTE Management Console, dual ROM architecture and 4+4 x 3000W 80 PLUS Titanium redundant power supplies help administrators monitor system health, replace supported drives and maintain resilient data-center operation.
